These public outreach tools are to help us communicate the message of Al-Anon/Alateen to the community by giving information to professionals, to the media, to institutions, and to the general public. As Tradition 11 states, “Our public relations policy is based in attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio, TV and films.” Keeping that in mind, we can inform professionals who work with families and friends of alcoholics about the Al-Anon/Alateen program.
